华•美术馆是国内首家以设计为主题的美术馆，于2008年9月1日在深圳华侨城正式成立，毗邻何香凝美术馆、OCAT深圳馆。现为OCAT馆群中的设计馆。
OCT Art & Design Gallery is the first gallery focused on design in China. Constructed by the OCT Group, the gallery was formally launched on September 1, 2008. It is the design branch of the OCAT Museums.

主展馆概况
Overview
建筑面积3000余平方米，展厅面积2000平方米。主体建筑由旧仓库改造而成，六边形钢结构重叠组合的玻璃幕墙在旧有建筑外构筑一个独立表皮，在新锐的建筑外形下保留了过去建筑的历史和意义。
The main building, now wrapped up in glass walls held up by hexagonal steel structures, used to be an old warehouse. The building area is more than 3000 m2 including 2000 m2 exhibition area. By preserving the old structure under the cutting-edge appearance, the avant-garde architecture inherits its history and significance.

OCAT（华侨城当代艺术中心）创立于2005年，2012年4月正式登记为独立的非营利性美术馆，并构建了布局全国的当代艺术馆群。它是由中央企业华侨城集团赞助的新型艺术机构。馆群总部设在深圳，目前包括OCAT深圳馆、华・美术馆、 OCAT上海馆、OCAT西安馆、OCAT研究中心（北京馆）。
Established in 2005, OCAT became a registered, independent non-profit organization in April 2012, and built a group of contemporary museums of art across China. It is an art institution sponsored by the state-owned enterprise OCT Group. With its headquarters in Shenzhen, the museum group comprises OCAT Shenzhen, OCT Art & Design Gallery (Shenzhen), OCAT Shanghai, OCAT Xi’an, and OCAT Institute (Beijing).
